This is a large frame pistol with original Silver Striped finish. The silver has tarnished. The finish is thinning in a couple spots, but clearly there is 80+ % original finish. there is a grain crack on the back of the gun, there is a forged nail in the the wood through the crack. The stock is strong and secure. With the Mortice hollowed out for Lock and the barrel, the wood gets very thin on the back side and grain cracks are most often encontered near the screw hole. Standard 7 groove rifling. There are some wear spots in the varnish. This is considered a rare Large Frame, Large Bore Deringer.
