Maker: Blake & Co London

A very fine cased pair of English percussion man stopper belt pistols, made about 1850 by Blake & Co London. The 5" barrels are.69 caliber, browned octagonal marked Blake & Co London; each with vivid color case hardened breech. The bolted box lock action; dolphin side hammers are engraved with scroll and foliage. The trigger guards are also engraved, with charcoal blue triggers and sliding safeties. The belt hooks are fire blued; with finely checkered walnut grips. The case hardened butt caps have a hinged trap cover. London proof marks; in fitted original mahogany case with some accessories. A very fine outfit.
