Maker: Winchester
This case hardened frame 1873 retains about 75% + of the original case hardening. 44 cal. The barrel retains 85% + of thinning blue. The serial number is 107977A, a 3rd Model. The rifle letters with the Cody white sheet with Deluxe wood, Peep Tang sight which is correct with the 73 on the bottom, with a Knife Blade, and the Case Hardened frame. The bore has 100% of the rifling and very strong lands and grooves. This gun was shipped from the factory on 1-10-1883. It is very bright with just a tough of frosting. It is not quite mirror bright, but it may clean better. There is a small piece of wood missing from the left forearm. This is a very good Winchester in excellent condition, and would fit in any collection.
